The stats tell us that they are a mid 30’s dude, with a job, and maybe a family. Not a teenage hardcore 6 hour a day gamer!
So why are so many of the game reviews written by full time gamers who work in the industry or game every day?
Us “Average Gamers” get to play for an hour here and there while the baby is napping and not screaming the house down, or maybe when the missus goes out for brunch with the girls. We get a few hours a week.
So The Average Gamer Guys are here to tell you what gaming is like from our point of view. If you can get a quick hour in and get some fun and enjoyment out of a game or if you need a solid 3 hour session to actually get anywhere (I’m looking at you Elder Scrolls and The Witcher).
If a game is easy enough to get the hang of and remember how to play if you only get to play it once a week. We’ve bought enough games between us that have been played once or twice to then be traded in because they were too complicated and time consuming for short sporadic sessions.
So hopefully our ramblings and very average gameplay will help along the way or atleast provide some entertainment!
